Founded in 2010, WINK CREATIVE is a NYC-based ad agency offering editing and producing services for theatrical film marketing. The owners are hands-on creatives who operate a client-focused boutique in the heart of the city's film and media market. Together they bring a unique 25 years of creative advertising experience "in a world..." of movie trailers and tv campaigns.MATT WINCH (Creative Director, Partner) has worked on hundreds of theatrical advertising campaigns for motion pictures. From world-wide studio hits like Transporter 2, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, X-Men: The Last Stand and Anger Management to specialty releases such as Passing Strange, Best in Show, The Full Monty and This is England, his experience spans every genre and flavor of niche marketing. He received his MFA from the Chicago Art Institute and started as a theatrical editor in Los Angeles at the award-winning Trailer Park. He has also been a staff editor at trailer houses Intralink,The Cimarron Group, Seismic Productions and Flyer Entertainment. Click here to see some of his work prior to forming WINK.Prior to Wink, JIN WHANG (Producer, Managing Partner) was overseeing a/v marketing as creative director for New York-based Miramax Films. There she produced ad campaigns for their slate of theatrical releases like Extract, Happy-Go-Lucky, Blindness, Brideshead Revisited, Adventureland and Julian Schnabel's Academy Award-nominated The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. As a producer and copywriter at Los Angeles agency Seismic Productions, she worked on numerous campaigns like Hairspray, Tyler Perry's Daddys Little Girls, the Madea films, Nacho Libre, Dream Girls, Click, Norbit and the SAW franchise while managing and overseeing all aspects of business operations. A former journalist and Los Angeles Times reporter, her start in the film business began at Universal Pictures managing print and a/v marketing for multiple Key Art Award-winning theatrical campaigns such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Meet the Fockers,The Hulk, The Interpreter, Bruce Almighty, Ray, Dawn of the Dead and Love Actually.
